Composed at Nice in 1956, before its departure for the Algerian War, the sonata opus 3 for violin and piano “En mémoire de Maurice Ravel” had been forgotten during about forty years. Rediscovered only in 1996, it had been the Erick Gonthier’s movie theme in 1997, under the title of “La sonate oubliée”.
