Ellipseis for piano
preview
Written in 1967, while the author stayed at the Villa Medici, in Rome. Ellipseis justifies its title by its shape, which evokes a wide curve unfolding over the entire keyboard. The piece is constructed like a big question. It gives equal importance to each of the two hands, requiring the performer to have a lot of concentration.
