In three parts, in the manner of poetry, the music of this melody wrap like in a cushioned jewel box, the highly inspirated verses of Arthur Rimbaud. The first part, impregnated with mystery, describes Ophelie : linear melodic line, backed up by a piano referring to a stormy sky, scattered with stars. The second part, declaimed, more objectifying, with a tendancy for opera music, builds up a descriptive venture. The third part briefly recall the first, and concludes the work on the image of Ophelie, in all her mysterious beauty.
