Sophie Zadikian was born into a family of master craftsmen and visual artists, which led her to teach art history. She is a professor at the CRR de Toulouse, where she also teaches musical analysis. She has given numerous lectures (Festival Messiaen, Festival de la Chaise-Dieu, Musée de Lille, Vidéothèque internationale d'art lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence, etc.) and taught 20th-century score analysis at the Université du Mirail between 2010 and 2012. His interests are manifold, and his two books focus on Mozart operas Cosi fan tutte de Mozart, l'opéra incompris, was published in Paris by L'Harmattan in 2007, and La Flûte enchantée, fiction et réalités by Aedam Musicae in 2022.
