About author : ITAKURA Hiromi

Hiromi ITAKURA, born in Aichi (Japan) in 1977, majored in the composition with Naoyuki TERAI at the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music. From the year 2000 she is in Paris, where she got her diplomat at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, in the class of Michel MERLET. And the 1st prize of orchestration at Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris-CNR, in the class of Alain LOUVIER. She won the 3rd prize at Vittoria Caffa Righetti International Concours in 2001, and the excellent prize at JFC Composition Concours (Japan Federation of Composer) in 2002. One of her pieces is taken as a compulsory work of PTNA Piano Competition 2005 (Japan). Actually she studies at Conservatoire National de Région de Strasbourg with Ivan FEDELE.
