ROBIN Jean-Baptiste

Jean-Baptiste Robin is a french composer and organist born in 1976. He studied at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris where he received seven Premier Prix diplomas (organ, harmony, counterpoint, 16th Century composition, 20th century composition, orchestration, Basso continuo) and two postgraduate diplomas with honours, in theory and in organ performance. He studied orchestration with Marc-Andre DALBAVIE, organ with Marie-Claire ALAIN and Olivier LATRY, and he studied composition with George BENJAMIN at King's College, London.

Jean-Baptiste Robin is the composer of some thirty pieces ranging from solo instrument to large symphony orchestra, and was prize-winner of the Lagardere Foundation, Institut des Beaux-Arts and the George Enesco prize from SACEM.
