DUFOURCET Marie-Bernadette

 

Marie-Bernadette DUFOURCET is Professor Doctor of Musicology at the University Bordeaux-Montaigne and Honorary organist of the Cavaillé-Coll organ of the church Notre-Dame-des-Champs in Paris. Licentiate Performer of the Trinity College of London, she obtained several prizes in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris, as well as in various international organ competitions of performance or improvisation (Rennes, St Albans, Beauvais, Chartres). Her repertoire includes works from the Baroque to the contemporary period. Her works are published in Editions Combre, Lemoine, FitzSimons (USA), Musikverlag Müller (Bern, Switzerland). She recorded for Priory, Motette-Ursina, Studio REM, ORGAN, IFO, Rejoyce. For her academic accomplishments, she received the medal of “Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite” in 2012 and the medal of “Officier des Palmes Académiques” in 2016.
