The French-American organist and musicologist Dr. CAROLYN SHUSTER FOURNIER came to Paris to study with Marie-Claire Alain, then studied with Michel Chapuis, Jean Saint-Arroman and André Isoir. Formerly organist at the American Cathedral in Paris, she is titular organist at the Church of the Holy Trinity. An international concert organist, Carolyn Shuster Fournier has given masterclasses, lectures and made recordings. She has published specialized articles and the book, Un siècle de vie musical à l’église de la Trinité à Paris, de Théodore Salomé à Olivier Messiaen (Éditions L’Harmattan, Paris, 2014). In 2007, she was awarded the distinction of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
