Sylvie Pébrier teaches at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris (CNSMDP). As a musicologist, she seeks to articulate an aesthetic reflection on interpretation and listening with a critical approach to narratives about music. As a music inspector at the Ministry of Culture (1998-2021), she was responsible for studies on audiences, cultural mediation of music in institutions and in the training of musicians. She published "Reinventing music in its institutions, its policies, its stories"(Aedam musicae, 2021).
