Johannes Ockeghem or Jean Ockeghem (born c. 1420 in Saint-Ghislain, near Mons, Hainaut - died February 6, 1497 in Tours, France) was a Franco-Flemish composer of the second half of the 15th century, considered to be the leader of the generation of composers between Guillaume Dufay and Josquin des Prés.
