About author : TALIANNI Katerina

Katerina Talianni holds a doctorate in music. Her thesis "Walking-with-sounds: Creative agency, artistic collaboration and the sound production of acoustic urban spaces", defended at the University of Edinburgh, interrogates the urban environment through sound in order to examine the significance of sound in society. Her research focuses on the study of aural culture and environmental sound art, and how they can contribute to formulating collective responses to the global consequences of global warming. She is a lecturer in the Department of Digital and Performative Arts at the University of the Peloponnese. She is also co-editor of the journal Airea: Arts and Interdisciplinary Research.
