A former Lavoisier Scholar of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Laurent Feneyrou is currently a research fellow (CNRS) in Ircam's "Analyse des pratiques musicales" team, and a member of the Académie Charles Cros, the Fondation Salabert and the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Levi (Venice). An editor of composers' writings and author of books on tragic sentiment, Luigi Nono and Helmut Lachenmann, he has edited numerous collective works.
