The work won first prize with unanimity in the second Concours de Composition at the Festival du Comminges (2008), its public premiere being given in the Final of the competition. The second public performance was given at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, by kind invitation of Olivier Latry. The composer was the performer on both occasions. Concert performance was intended for the work, where the three movements might be played individually or as a suite. It is conceivable, however, that individual movements might have a use in liturgical music-making.
