Written in 2013, this symphony justifies its title by the scale of its proportions, the sonorous perspectives of its different parts, and above all by the fundamental unity which reigns in it. Actually the score is essentially based on a thematic pattern, whose notes evoke the name of Albert Schweitzer (in the German notation system). Successively energic and enthusiastic, mysterious and veiled, grandiose and visionary, the music, characterized by a very free harmony and a very concentrated writing, is a passionate affirmation of the supremacy of the Spirit.
