Runs in double notes, arpeggios, chords, leaps, supple wrists, medium fast and joyous tempo, and rubato in certain passages are the chosen means to express the fluttering of wings, tenacious will and effort of the young dragon confronting the reality of his first flight. Once mastered, desired expressive interpretation offers to the listeners pleasant musical moment.
