Marion's Song has been written at Christmas 2009 for a little eight years old girl, who has been studying viola for one year. We can hear a simple melody at the viola, similar as a popular song, from the title goes ; this melody use principally the four alone strings of the instrument in order that the instrumentist's playing is made easier. The piano, which is accompanying, play a self willed light part, which is located very often in the acute medium register, in order that the role of bass and the low medium register are reserved for the viola. The tonal harmony stacks the major and minor thirds of the tone, in a kind of poetical fog, which is nevertheless clear and calm.
