This composition for 2 oboes and marimba was commissioned by the Conservatory of Music of Villejuif and was created by three of its students in 2012. The theme of a walk in the forest and the treatment of the oboes and the marimba (as well as the mixture of their "woody" sounds) give to this piece a well marked rural character in a joyful atmosphere, as the spirit of curiosity and discovery that inspires us in these moments. The message could be "go ahead!"
