Sensitive, like a many a number of other authors and composers, to the tone of Latin in our churches, many endings of words in that language appeal to my musician's ears through the harmonics they produce. Somewhat as in the boeun-buddhist tradition of Tibet in which five"seed-syllables"are used to reveal the essential nature of the spirit, as well as to freedom its creativity, the Latin language holds in itself a divine design of elevation, attainable by all nations.
The "orum" ending recalls for me, in a very personal assessment, the osmosis of an organ sound in a place, or else a bell instrument with all the declinations of colours it displays.
