After composing a number of sheet music for strings, my favorite instrumental family, I wanted to write a piece for solo violin and orchestra without being in concerto form.Above all, I wanted to highlight the lyrical side of the violin, which is nevertheless capable of yielding to attempts at virtuosity. With a single movement, conceived in a space of real freedom, the concertino can resemble fantasy, a very free-form musical composition born in the 16th century that has continued to this day. The composition dates from May / June 2019.
