In Greek mythology, Polymnia is the muse of rhetoric. She had the ability to inspire the Aedes whose poems and stories were the most remarkable. In the score, rhetoric and song give way to the transverse flute associated with the aulos which was commonly used in ancient Greece. Accompanied by the piano, it appears at the same time, voluble, poetic, free.
“It is an incredible musical journey with different paintings that illustrate the magnificent colors and rhythmic curves in order to tell this sublime story in the most perfect and coherent way.” (Vincent Lucas 1st solo flutist at the Orchestre de Paris).
