These twelve etudes bring together the most opposed aesthetics and moods: the mocking cheerfulness of the first and the sadness of the seventh, the virtuosity of the eleventh and the sobriety of the twelfth. But what connects them all is my abiding dream of expanding the technical and, above all, poetic abilities of the oboe.
