The book is intended as a practical and pragmatic approach to the sound and musical world, for the use of a teacher who would not necessarily be specialist in this field, to children of Cycle II of the Elementary School. In the form of 7 thematic "sequences", it constitutes a mine of information to appropriate, manipulate, create and pass from the experimentation to an exact and precise vocabulary, by building progressive sessions. The first 6 parts are in the musical field; they are supplemented, in the seventh part, by scientific and acoustic propositions.
