In this version of the Magnificat, for soprano solo and women's choir a cappella dedicated to Mary and through it to all women, I imagined that the Canticle of Mary is a kaleidoscope that would hold as a prism each verse in relation to the meaning of the text. The Gregorian intonation at the same time given rise to the original harmonic halo and hiding in it. Soli keeping inside the meaning of words and tutti echoing alternate throughout this vast fresco until verse "It is his servant Israel" where each speaks freely to the heart of the symphony.
