Jean-Michel Bardez and Jean-Marc Chouvel have been practicing improvisation for many years, the first on piano, the second on clarinet. In parallel to these improvisations, which have been published by the Ameson label, they have produced visual works, alternately, on the same medium.
This creative process is very rare. Such a morphogenesis supposes an adaptation of behaviors essential to the autonomy of the individuals. It arouses an evolutionary thought implying forms of equilibrium in the course of the fluctuations. It is also a researcher's approach, an act of lucidity that allows one to rethink one's own achievements. It is advisable to accept the presence of two aesthetics.
Any new course has a significant "unforeseen" element. Each must consider the inventive act of the other, rather than oppose it, and move it well beyond what is immediately imaginable. The transversality of thought will be more and more important to understand the situation of our planet. Beyond art, the need for resilience will impose new emerging vital forms. It is in this spirit that the "interferences" that this book gives to see were born.
