Thirteen secret stories of music

If the thirteen stories that follow are in no way "secret" in the eyes of a few specialists, they remain little known, even unknown to the majority of the general public, music lovers or even musicians. It is therefore to them that this book is particularly addressed.  

Each of these stories deals with a singular aspect of the trajectory of certain emblematic composers of the first XXth century in the light of political, ideological or socio-historical events. Thus, through a few slices of life, the informed music lover will be able to reconstruct, in an atypical way, a part of the history of the music of this tragic period.

Perhaps, and to conclude, these thirteen stories remind us that no creator, no artist and no ivory tower can escape an ideological and political context, yesterday, today and tomorrow. It would be naïve to believe this, but... this is another story
